Over the last few months, the team at Parry Coates Family Law have been getting involved and have enjoyed supporting our local community at a range of events.
Queensland Legal Walk
16th May – We enjoyed a brisk walk for the Queensland Legal Walk 10th Anniversary in support of Lawright. We started at the Supreme Court and walked through the Brisbane CBD to raise vital funds to assist disadvantaged members of the community to have access to the legal system.
Time to Draw a Line Against Domestic Violence
Our team attended the ‘Time to Draw a Line Against Domestic Violence’ luncheon hosted by the Nundah Neighbourhood Centre and Community Legal Service. We heard from survivors of severe family violence and from RizeUp, a worthwhile organisation supporting many families affected by domestic and family violence.
Watch this space for Rebecca’s new art work selected from the fabulous exhibits on show for the Centre’s annual Art Exhibition and major fundraising event.
Wooloowin State School Fete
Sunday, 11th June – the Parry Coates Family Law team (which extended to our supportive family), were joint major sponsors of the Wooloowin State School Fete, cooking and serving 30kgs of sausages for all who attended. It may have been raining but the sausages were sizzling and a great day was had.
